Nestlé Headquarters, Quito, Ecuador
This project seeks to integrate concepts and values preached by Nestlé, where natural resources are the base for the raw materials and the development of its products in Ecuador. In that sense, the resulting design responds to sustainability premises and architectural resources that reflect the company’s values. The inegrated concept for the design is evident, for example, in the use of colors and graphic themes in each level, designating the different programatic areas of the building, where the internal displacements result in a recognizable corporate identity. The experience of the hotel, however, starts on the outside, where a green access plaza, rife with water and footpaths, symbolically express the importance of the natural in relation to the built environment.
