Indoor Swimming Pool Oberkassel / Heerdt, Duesseldorf, Germany
The bath is located directly on the river Rhine and had to be planned and built with special consideration for flood protection on the dyke. For this, ground improvements without excavation via vibro-piling and a multi-storey building with different functional areas were built. The roof structure forms a particularly light steel roof with very filigree perforated web girders (cellform beams).
