Now, Near, Next @ UIA, Copenhagen, Denmark
The UIA WORLD CONGRESS OF ARCHITECTS was held in Copenhagen from 2 to 6 July 2023. Present: "Now, Near, Next, – in situ" at the stand of the Federal Chamber of German Architects.
The analogue part of the exhibition extended the digital one into real space and served as an access portal via QR codes. In Copenhagen, "Now, Near, Next, – in situ" was also non-hierarchical, clustered and freely configurable for each individual visitor to the exhibition. Postcards of the network's contributions now carry greetings from Copenhagen out into the world. "Now, Near, Next, – in situ" is an immaterial exhibition that stimulates discussion without showing actual exhibits. The exhibition is an objectless platform, a place of interaction and networking. The digital network continues to reach out into the real world.
