Network for Architecture Exchange NAX
German architects, engineers and planners have a strong international reputation for excellence. They are renowned for their expertise and high quality delivery of holistic and integrated construction.
The Network Architecture Exchange NAX is an initiative of the Federal Chamber of German Architects. Since 2002, it has supported German planners on their way abroad and promoting the brand “Architecture made in Germany” worldwide.
In this endeavour, NAX relies on the personal commitment of each of its members, promoting architecture from Germany in the media and engagement with politicians and entrepreneurs.
NAX
- informs about economic and political developments within the built environment sector, e.g. throught the quarterly NAX REPORT. The COUNTRY DATABASE provides useful information on planning and constructing worldwide, e.g. on topics such as contracts, fees and liability.
- connects export-driven architects with their national and international colleagues, builders and investors. Export-experienced planners can register in the CONTACT ARCHITECT DATABASE and get in touch with the network.
- advocates for planning quality from Germany abroad. We cover a wide range of EVENTS sharing German expertise in the built environment disciplines, e.g. architecture, engineering, town planning, with politicians and entrepreneurs.
"To achieve our goal of strengthening the brand “Architecture made in Germany”, we can only do this together. Even though German architects and engineers are competitors, they need to come together in order to be able to compete internationally.
Therefore we currently have 60 export-experienced architectural and engineering offices build the COMMUNITY OF NAX MEMBERS. Together with our PARTNERS (e.g. industry partners, service providers) they represent NAX."
